From Shampoo Assistant to Freelance Stylist-
I started my hair styling journey at 15 as a shampoo assistant in Bookham Village, surrey where I grew up, training full-time at Guildford College while gaining hands-on salon experience. From the very beginning, I loved seeing the transformation a great haircut or colour could bring.
London soon called, and I joined Headmasters, where I learned from talented teams, attended advanced courses, and discovered my passion for creative hairdressing. After a stint at The Witches Hut in Clapham, I achieved a long-held dream: joining Vidal Sassoon. The training was intense and hands-on, shaping me into a confident, skilled stylist. Over eight years, I worked on collections seen worldwide, taught abroad, and became Assistant Creative Director at the Mayfair salon, helping train and guide upcoming team members.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I took the leap into freelancing. Today, I split my time between working with Carley Bayne hair in Epsom, surrey (a close friend from my Headmasters days), Williams and Hirst, London’s award-winning co-working salon in the heart of London's West End and The Loft in Reigate. This setup allows me to offer flexibility and accessibility to my clients while continuing to grow creatively.
I'm a specialist in cutting and more recently, have been learning in depth about curly hair. My goal is always the same: hair that looks amazing, feels healthy, and works for you every day. My style is feminine, and I especially love cutting short hair.
Whether you’re looking for a trim or a complete transformation, I aim to make every visit enjoyable, professional, and stress-free. I love helping clients feel confident in their hair and sharing tips to keep it looking great between appointments.
For now, I’m happy with the way I work and the career I’ve built—but who knows what’s coming next!
All my love,
F xx
